lives and works  in Oslo, Norway.

Jenny is a musician with a transmedial artistic practice, unfolding as sound installations, radio works, videos, photography and performance. Her art revolves around personal documentation, intimacy, memory, dreaming and speculations.

As a performer, Jenny strives to make a space for shared listening, removing the expectations of virtuous musical gestures by focusing on the sounds and the mental images they produce in us. Her music, videos and images come from gathering and collecting — field recordings, conversations, personal moments and family archives. The seemingly private is displayed in her work not as a confrontational act, but as a vulnerable and empathetic one.

Jenny is a close collaborator with many other artists across disciplines, most notably musician and novelist Jenny Hval. They have worked together since 2016, on music videos, visuals and live performances, touring in Europe, the UK and the US. 

Recent works include the art installation Lucida with Verdensteatret (2026) at Dikemarkfestivalen, the composition Writing in Water, Singing the Clouds (2026), the album You could totally be next to me (2025) in collaboration with Opuntia (MX), the audiovisual concert Phloem Sap (2025) with Niklas Adam commisioned by BEK, Havgaver (2025) with Anja Lauvdal at Henie Onstad Art Center, the sound installation Shifting shapes of cloud (2024) for Skaftfell Art Center (IS), performance and sound installation for Paper notes and pinecones (2024) by Laura Cemin at HAM, Helsinki, and the performance I want to be a machine (2024) with Jenny Hval, premiered at Henie Onstad.

Jenny has made commissions for festivals like Borealis (Bergen), Insomnia (Tromsø) and Skanu Mezs (Riga, LT), Radiophrenia (Glasgow), Only Connect (Oslo), and performed in places like The Barbican, the ICA and Café OTO (London), Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Munchmuseet (Oslo), Primavera festival (Barcelona), Rewire festival (Den Haag), Kampnagel (Hamburg), Constellation (Chicago), Elsewhere (NY), Lodge Room (LA), etc. 

In 2021, 2023 and 2024 she received the Norwegian Arts Council’s working grant for young artists

Jenny is also curating F/eks - a concert series for electronic music and experimental pop in Oslo.
