On March 7th 2025, Espen Friberg & I released our debut album as the duo Flutter Ridder. Flutter Ridder was released by the brilliant Students of Decay. I'm so thrilled about this project. I worked with Espen Friberg on his solo album 'Sun Soon' a while back, and it was such a pleasure to arrange and mix his beautiful Serge compositions. Back in November 2023, we spent a week in Hvitsten church, recording new music together: combining the electrical currents of the Serge synthesizer with the f low of air through the church organ and my clarinet. I find the sounds to be so warm, woody, fluttering and inspiring, and I really hope you will too. While we were making Flutter Ridder, we kept thinking of the movie The Brothers Lionheart, a film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's book of same title.
